The vacant posts for the junior and senior selection committee will be filled on Thursday when the shortlisted candidates are interviewed by the Cricket Advisory Committee and the BCCI office-bearers along with cricket development professionals.
The eleven candidates who have been invited for the senior selectors’ interviews are Ajit Agarkar, Abey Kuruvilla, Nayan Mongia (west zone), Chetan Sharma, Maninder Singh, Nikhil Chopra, Ajay Ratra, Vijay Dahiya (north), Shiv Sundar Das, Debasis Mohanty and Ranadeb Bose (east).
The Madan Lal headed committee including R. P. Singh and Sulakshana Naik will interview the 11 former cricketers for three vacant posts. The four slots in the junior committee will be interviewed by others.
