IPL 2021: Star Plus to live broadcast Sunday matches from Apr 18

Disney- Star India, the official broadcaster of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), will live broadcast the tournament matches on Star Plus every Sunday at the 7 pm time slot from April 18.

“Star Plus is leaving no stone unturned to ensure millions of its viewers can enjoy great cricketing action from VIVO IPL 2021 every Sunday in addition to its highly appealing shows during the week,” an official statement from the broadcaster said.

The first match to be aired live on Star Plus will be the contest between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), which will be the 11th affair of the 60 fixtures that the ongoing 14th edition comprises.

While the KL Rahul-led PBKS sits at the third place in the eight-team standings with a win from their single game so far, DC is at the fourth place with a win and a loss from thir two games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) hold the first and second spot respectively.
