Krunal Pandya tests positive for Covid-19

India all-rounder Krunal Pandya has tested positive for Covid-19 following which tonight’s T20I between the Men In Blue and hosts Sri Lanka has been postponed.

As per reports, the match, which is the second one of the three-match series, will now be held on Wednesday but only after the remianing players test negative for the virus.

Meanwhile, the other players and support staffs have been asked to isolate.

Both the BCCI or the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) haven’t made any official announcement in this regard till now.

In the last game, Krunal had managed a wicket conceding 16 runs from his two overs beside contributing with three runs from as many balls.

The Shikhar Dhawan-led India side had won the first T20I by 38 runs on Sunday.
