Anrich Nortje ruled out of third ODI against Australia

Ace South Africa pacer Anrich Nortje has been ruled out of the upcoming third ODI against Australia, scheduled to be played on Tuesday at the JB Marks Oval.

Nortje, 29, left the field after bowling just five overs during the second ODI in Bloemfontein on Saturday due to lower back spasms. The hosts lost the affair by 123 runs.

Nortje however, returned to bat during the chase but still requires further assessment and as per a statement, he will undergo scans in Johannesburg on Monday.

Australia currently, lead the five-match ODI series 2-0. An another win will see them winning the series due to which, the hosts would be aiming for a comeback on Tuesday.
