Baseline Ventures expands into esports with Marcos Gaming partnership

Among India’s leading sports business, marketing and talent management brands, Baseline Ventures has forayed into esports. The Delhi-based sports company has inked a strategic partnership with leading e-sports team Marcos Gaming.

As part of the multi-year deal, Baseline Ventures will managing the commercial interests for Marcos Gaming and their athletes.

Marcos Gaming is one the youngest and fastest growing professional esports organisations in the country. The young team formed only in December 2019, have already established themselves as one of the best esports organisations by finishing 6th in their debut tournament, PMCO where they were up against the top 24 teams in the country and then went on to win the OR tournament shortly afterwards.

Esports in India has been growing at an exponential rate. With the professionalisation of esports teams, cheap data and a significant rise in purchasing power, India is one of the rising esports destinations in the world. Baseline Ventures expertise and deep roots in the intellectual business of spots will further expedite the growth of Marcos Gaming.
