BCCI Apex Council meeting to discuss Asian Games participation & sponsorship deals

In the upcoming Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) Apex Council meeting, which is likely to be held on July 7, crucial issues like the Indian teams’ participation in the Asian Games and sponsorship and media rights will be reportedly discussed.

As per reports, the participation of India in the upcoming Asian Games, scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8, in both the men’s and women’s category will be one of the important issues on the agenda of the meeting.

Earlier this month, the Indian board had announced the release of an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for National Team Lead Sponsor Rights after Ed-Tech major BYJU’s left the scene at the end of the last financial year.

Moreover, the playing conditions related to the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament, specifically the Impact Player Rule, are most likely to be discussed in the meeting.
