Channel 4 win rights to broadcast England’s tour to India in UK territory

After a gap of 15 years, Channel 4, a British free-to-air public-service television network, have reportedly won the rights to broadcast England’s upcoming series with India in the UK territory.

According to reports, global rights holders Star Sports and Channel 4 have now officially signed a contract for the live broadcast of the entire tour which comprises of four Tests, five Twenty20s and three one-day internationals.

An official announcement however, is yet to be made.

Significantly, Channel 4 last telecasted Test cricket back in 2005 when England took Australia in the Ashes.
