Gareth Bale’s left-hoot gets insurance cover worth £100 mn

Real Madrid and Wales striker Garesh Bale has a £100 million foot. Yes. That is the value of insurance cover for star footballer’s striking foot.

According to a report by British publication Mirror Bale’s left foot has been insured for British pound 100 million ($ 126.66 million).

The paper quoting experts has reported that Bale would receive £100 million in insurance protection if his left foot were damaged. Bale has in a podcast with host Erik Anders Lang confessed “Yes, it is”. He however did not specify the amount.

Bookmaker William Hill reckons it has a value which would put it in the top flight of celebrity body parts.

Spokesman Rupert Adams said: “We have done a bit of research and decided his foot is worth the equivalent of Julia Roberts’ smile, Michael Flatley’s legs and Kylie Minogue’s bum.

“If you were going to sign Gareth Bale we believe he would have a price tag of about two-thirds of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Therefore his foot is probably insured for just under £100million.”

Even though Gareth would get a price tag of up to 30% of what Critiano Ronaldo earns at Juventus, the difference in the insurance cover is certainly not in that proportionate as protection cover for the Portuguese football icon is reported to be worth £ 114 million.
