Haris Rauf ruled out of ongoing Super 4 clash vs India

In a massive blow to Pakistan, star pacer Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the ongoing Super 4 clash against India due to injury.

“Haris Rauf will not be bowling any further in the Asia Cup Super 4 match against India as a precautionary measure,” the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement ahead of the start of the reserve day of much-anticipated clash against which had to be stopped on Sunday due to heavy rains.

The board further informed that Rauf was subsequently taken for a precautionary MRI after he felt a little discomfort in his right flank during the match yesterday however, the test revealed no tear.

Raif will however, remain under the observation of the Pakistan team’s medical panel.

As per reports, Haris would be put on ice on Monday.

With the Men’s ODI World Cup knocking the doors, Pakistan team won’t take the issue lightly as Rauf is one of the best pacer of the Babar Azam-led side and would want him to be fully in shape for the showpiece event.
