IPL 2021: Kohli exits bio-bubble, returns back home

After leading Team India to a historic series win against England, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli has decided to take a small break and return to his home in Mumbai.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Kohli was seen sitting in the balcony of his Mumbai apartment as a photo of him with the caption read: “nothing like home”.

However, now when Kohli has not entered the IPL 2021 bio-bubble directly after leaving Team India’s bio-secure bubble, the RCB skipper will need to serve a mandatory seven-day quarantine before joining his side’s camp in Chennai.

In order to feature in RCB’s tournament opener against Mumbai on April 9, Kohli will need to begin his quarantine period at least on April 2 failing to which he would be forced to miss the first match.

Meanwhile, Kohli also shared a video of himself where he was seen running on the treadmill, right after reaching home and and said there are ‘no rest days’ for him.

On the other hand, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Siraj, who were also part of the Team India during the just held limited-overs series against England, have reached Chennai to join the RCB camp.
