IPL 2021: Span Communications to promote RBI’s media campaign during the season

Reserve Bank of India, the country’s central bank and regulatory body under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Finance responsible for the issue and supply of the Indian rupee and the regulation of the Indian banking system, is always seen launching consumer awareness campaigns through various media channels.

For its next leg of the consumer awareness campaign, the RBI has chose to cash in on the ongoing 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The RBI reportedly, had recently asked for proposals amongst its empaneled agencies like Lodestar, Prachar Communications, Goldmine, RK Swamy, Denstu, Span Communications to name a few.

Later, the consumer awareness campaign was awarded to Span Communications as the agency had offered a deal which wa acceptable the the RBI.

As per reports, the size of the campaign is pegged at Rs. 50 crore.

Earlier, Span Communications had also pocketed the media campaigns done by RBI on KBC and India Australia cricket series.
