In a major blow to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has decided to pull out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season.
According to a reports, Marsh has expressed his inability to spend long times inside the bio-bubble.
As per the BCCI protocol for Covid-19, a player would have to undergo a mandatory seven-day quarantine period plus a 50-day bio-bubble during the complete season.
However, Marsh found the mandatory guidelines restrictive and as a result decided to pull out of the tournament.
Marsh was bought by SRH at his a base price of Rs 2 crore at the 2020 auction.
