Qatar Airways roped in as official airline partner of UEFA EURO 2020

Qatar’s national carrier — Qatar Airways has been roped as a partner of UEFA EURO 2020 and after the partnership, it will become the official airline of the showpiece event.

Coca-Cola, FedEx, Heineken, Alipay, Booking.com, Hisense, SOCAR, Takeaway.com, TikTok, vivo and Volkswagen are already the partners of UEFA EURO 2020.

After the partnership, the Qatar Airways brand will feature prominently across all digital platforms and the different stadiums across 12 venues set to host the the tournament, which will feature 51 games.

Speaking on the development, UEFA marketing director, Guy-Laurent Epstein said: “We are delighted to welcome Qatar Airways on board as an Official Partner of UEFA EURO 2020. Like sport, travel unites us. Now more than ever, next Summer represents the ideal opportunity for us to celebrate the excitement that the competition will bring. We will, together, celebrate the 16th edition of the European Championship.”

On the other hand, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Qatar Airways is delighted to partner with UEFA to connect players and officials across the globe through our world class service.
