Chennai Super Kings vice-captain Suresh Raina has reportedly opted out of the Indian Premier League 2020 for personal reasons.
The team has confirmed that the veteran batsman, who announced his retirement from international cricket along with his skipper skipper MS Dhoni, has returned home from Dubai.
“Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time,” CSK has posted on its official twitter handle. The quote is attributed to CSK CEO KS Viswanathan.

Raina has been with Chennai Super Kings for all the 13 seasons of the IPL.
Fourth highest-aggregator in the history of IPL behind MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, he had a ₹ 11 crore contract with the CSK for the IPL 2020.
