Rishabh Pant badly injured in major car accident

Team India’s star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was on Friday hospitalised after surviving a major car accident while he was returning from to Uttarakhand from Delhi.

As per reports, Pant was driving his BMW car which caught fire after hitting the divider at the Narsan border. Pant was travelling alone in the car at the time of the accident and he had to break his car’s window to escape.

According to the doctors, Pant suffered injuries to his forehead, back and leg. As of now, Pant’s condition is stable and has been referred to Max Dehradun.

According to eyewitnesses, the cricketer’s car collided with the railing and caught fire, which was was brought under control with massive difficulty. After the accident, Pant was rushed to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road.

Notably, Pant was not included in Team India’s squads for both the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka.

Recently, Pant did not featured in the ODIs against Bangladesh as the BCCI had decided to rest him ahead of the two-match Test series.
