IPL 2021: GROWW likely to join Star Sports as Co-Presenting Partner

Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 2021 official broadcaster Star Sports is likely to get another Co-Presenting Partner as GROWW, an online trading and wealth management company, is in talks to join the league’s bandwagon.

Earlier, GROWW was in discussions with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to join IPL as an official partner.

However Upstox, the Ratan Tata-backed cost-effective brokerage firm, had outbidded GROWW at the last minute and signed the Rs 45 crore deal with the lucrative league.

Earlier on Monday, Just Dial Limited, a company that provides local search for different services in India over the phone, website and mobile apps had announced that it has signed an agreement with broadcaster Star India for advertising as co-presenting sponsor during the upcoming edition of IPL.

The 14th season of the cash-rich league will begin on April 9 with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore and the final will be held on May 30.
