IPL 2021 to be broadcasted in 8 languages

Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the Indian Premier league (IPL) will once again broadcast the upcoming 14th season of the cash-rich tournament in eight languages.

As per reports, IPL 2021 will be broadcasted in 24 to 25 Disney Star channels in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Marathi language.

Also, reports say that Star Sports is also planning to air the games on Star Disney’s kid’s channels.

Meanwhile, Disney-Star India has reportedly sold 90 oercent of its inventory for the edition.

While Dream11, Byju’s, Just Dial and PhonePe will be their co-presenting sponsors, Vi, Mondelez, ITC’s Bingo, Kamla Pasand, Parle’s Frooti, Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), Asian Paints, Coca-Cola’s Thumbs Up, Amazon Prime, and Groww will be the associate sponsors.

For the upcoming season, Disney-Star India has set price of Rs 13.2 lakh per 10 seconds from co-presenting sponsors and Rs 13.6 lakh per 10 seconds from associate sponsors.

Meanwhile, Rs 14.1 to 14.3 lakh for a 10-second spot has been set for the Spot buyers.
