UK-bound pacer Prasidh Krishna and Delhi Capitals’ spinner Amit Mishra have recovered from COVID-19.

Notably, Krishna, who was part of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the recently postponed Indian Premier League (IPL), had cleared the tests before leaving the team’s bubble.

As per ESPNcricinfo, Prasidh had tested positive for the infection on May 8 and he has now recovered.

Significantly, Krishna is one of the four players on the standby list for the World Test Championship (WTC) final and the five-match Test series against England.

The pacer is likley to join the rest of the squad soon and will kick off the 14-day mandatory quarantine period.

Prasidh, who made his ODI debut against England in March this year, was inducted in the Test squad for the first time.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals’ (DC) leg-spinner Amit Mishra has also tested negative for Covid-19 and is out of quarantine. Significantly, Mishra was one of the many players, who had tested positive during the recently postponed 14th season of the cash-rich league.

“The real heroes. Our frontline workers. All I can say post my recovery is, you have my support and heartfelt appreciation for all you do. We are deeply grateful to you for all the sacrifices that you and your family are making. #grateful #coronawarriors #bcci #DelhiCapitals,” tweeted Mishra along with a picture of himself with health workers.
